How come Korean idols hide who they’re dating?
I know in the Korean pop industry, many idols keep who they’re dating a secret. However in the U.S., everyone knows which stars are dating who!
Just wondering why there’s this difference. Is it because of culture? Must suck for the Koreans b/c they always hide who they’re dating!
It’s because of the Korean fans. There will be a lot of jealous fan girls and Korean netizens are very mean. They can stalk that celebrities bf/gf and ridule them through words or by physical means. They’ll put up nasty words like "you think someone as ugly as you is good enough for my -insert celeb name-".
The words of the Korean Netizens are wow.. led to several celebrity suicides and Jay Park leaving South Korea.

why should they have to tell anyone? acting or singing is their job but what they do in their private life is really nothing to do with any of us it’s only white people who have to broadcast everywhere who they’re dating for attention
